Flow Simulation Models

With surface water and weather data from NOAA, our team constructed a series of flow simulation models within Aquaveo SMS and Rhino CFD.  The “ Tidal Grass” fabrication prototype developed by Grasshopper, has various layout configurations based on flow and deposition rates, and planting characteristics to stabilize the riverbed, and visualizes the river currents and wind.
